Pre-requisites
NGists runs on Windows XP Service Pack 2 (or later) or Windows Vista.
Before you install NGists, you must first install some other software that NGists requires, otherwise the installation will fail:
- Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 available here.
- Logitech G15 software version 1.04 or later, available here.
The installer will do its best to warn you if you don't have the correct software installed, but I can't test every possible situation, so the error message might be misleading. If you have trouble installing NGists, please check that you have the correct version of these items before you give up.
Installation
If you have the pre-requisites installed, then installing NGists is a breeze:
- Unzip the contents of the package (this will be called something like NGists_1.0.0.zip).
- Double-click the file called Setup.exe.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Upgrading
Upgrading NGists is the same as installing it. The installer will take care of stopping and restarting the program, if it is running.
Uninstalling
Now why would you want to do that? If you must uninstall NGists, go to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, then find NGists G15/TeamSpeak Display, and click Remove.
